Product Description

A monoazo lake pigment, Pigment Red 57:1 exhibits excellent chemical stability and heat resistance up to 220-240°C (in polyolefins), although heat resistance decreases significantly at low concentrations (<0.1%). Its color shade meets the standard magenta for four-color printing and is suitable for water-based, solvent-based, and UV ink systems. However, in alkaline environments, metal ion substitution may cause ink thickening. In these cases, C.I. Pigment Red 184 can be used as an alternative.

This pigment is translucent, has low viscosity, and high gloss, making it particularly suitable for solvent-based inks with high pigment loadings. It complies with EU RoHS and other environmental regulations and can be used in food packaging (such as soft PVC and LDPE) and cosmetics (such as lipstick and latex paint).
